Friends of Bloomsbury Square Friends of Bloomsbury Square was formed to provide the square with a voice after years of neglect and decline; which ultimately lead to the square being extensively renovated in 2003, when Repton’s layout was restored and new planting made in the Regency style. Today, we aim to cooperate with the Commissioners of Bloomsbury Square, Camden Council and the Bedford Estate to:- Ensure the square is well maintained Preserve the infrastructure Protect the Humphrey Repton landscaping and arboriculture Support the Open Squares Days with the Historic Parks and Gardens Trust Promote responsible attitudes among visitors, human and canine Support law enforcement measures to discourage antisocial activities Membership Membership of the Friends of Bloomsbury Square costs only £10 (corporate members) £5 (individuals) or £3 (concessions) renewable annually).
