Friends of Bloomsbury Square

About our organisation........

Friends of Bloomsbury Square

Friends of Bloomsbury Square was formed to provide the square with a voice after years of neglect and decline; which ultimately lead to the square being extensively renovated in 2003, when Repton’s layout was restored and new planting made in the Regency style.

Today, we aim to cooperate with the Commissioners of Bloomsbury Square, Camden Council and the Bedford Estate to:-

Ensure the square is well maintained

Preserve the infrastructure

Protect the Humphrey Repton landscaping and arboriculture

Support the Open Squares Days with the Historic Parks and Gardens Trust

Promote responsible attitudes among visitors, human and canine

Support law enforcement measures to discourage antisocial activities

Membership

Membership of the Friends of Bloomsbury Square costs only £10 (corporate members) £5 (individuals) or £3 (concessions) renewable annually). We welcome your support and involvement, inviting you to register your interest by becoming a Friend, on the form attached at the bottom of this page, which should be returned with a membership fee to:-
